Meta Connection Troubleshooting

Help resolving Facebook Page and Instagram connection issues.

Important: YourSocial support can only assist with issues inside the YourSocial platform. For Facebook, Instagram or Business Manager account-level issues, please contact Meta directly. You can contact them - and other social media platforms here
Account Has No Entities

Your login worked — but Meta did not return any Pages or Instagram accounts.

  • You do not have Full Control of the Page
  • The Page is inside a Business Portfolio and you are not assigned access
  • Instagram is not Professional
  • Instagram is not linked to a Facebook Page
  • You did not select the Page during authorisation

Recommended order:

  • Confirm Full Control
  • Confirm Business Settings access
  • Confirm Instagram is Professional + linked
  • Remove app from Business Integrations
  • Reconnect and select correct Pages
Instagram Account Not Showing
  • Account must be Business or Creator (not Personal)
  • Must be linked to the correct Facebook Page
  • Confirm you are logged into the correct Facebook account
  • Ensure no Instagram account restrictions are active
Connection Failed or Authentication Error
  • Log out of Facebook and retry
  • Clear browser cache
  • Disable ad blockers
  • Use Chrome or Edge
  • Remove app from Business Integrations and reconnect
Connected But Posts Fail

If publishing fails after connection, this is typically a Meta-side restriction.

  • Instagram not properly linked
  • Page publishing restrictions
  • Unsupported media format
  • Country or age restrictions
  • 2FA required by Business Portfolio

These must be resolved within Meta.
